Clay Target Shooting

We all have fun within our different sports, be this competitive or for fun, but for something a little different try a day, or even an afternoon of Clay Target Shooting.

How steady is your arm? How good is your aim? And concentration? Or how about your reflexes? Put these together and you can have an entertaining time enjoying this vibrant sport.

Enjoy a couple of rounds, (each round consisting of 25 shots at the clay targets). It’s visual, it’s exciting and it’s available to anyone irrespective of whether you have shot at clay targets before or not.

Clay Target Shooting could be used as a Birthday party function, challenge amongst friends, or as a Corporate Day. It can be an awesome tool for team building whist having a huge amount of fun in the process. Clay Target Shooting is also fantastic as a family sport as well as a team-building exercise, as it is conducted in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

For the very competitive individual Clay Target Shooting is available as an Olympic sport in the disciplines of Olympic Trap, Double Trap and Skeet.

There are many shooting clubs all over the country where novices and experts alike go to practice their particular discipline and you will always find someone willing to help the first-time shooter. The Clay Target Shooting Association of South Africa is the governing body and they can provide you with information on the various shooting clubs and different disciplines
