Whale and Dolphin Watching

Watching the Dolphin's and Whales is a local pastime

There are a large number of dolphins that frequent the shores of Port Elizabeth. No need go no further than a five minute drive from "Ebubeleni" to watch these amazing mammals frolicking  in the waves as they are often spotted in the vicinity of Seaview.

There are several charters that specifically offer whale watching. Get up close to the Bottlenose Dolphin  Southern Right Whales, Humpback Whales and Bottlenose Dolphins. Join us on this highlighted trip and enjoy an experience of a lifetime watching these gentle giants. Your knowledgeable guide will share lots of interesting information about these sea-fearing mammals.

Close encounter whale watching tours and a variety of Dolphin discovery tours are on offer. Private charters, specialised group tours also available on request ~ www.oceanadventures.co.zawww.oceansafaris.co.za

This is an activity not to be missed. The best time to see whales in the Eastern Cape, along the Garden Route and down in the Cape is during the winter months of July – November. Dolphins can be seen all year round.
